Brady President, Kris Brown, joined grassroots leaders and elected officials in San Diego today to talk about the need for action in preventing non-serialized and untraceable guns from flooding our communities.

Coming on the heels of a San Diego Union-Tribune report that police seizures of ghost guns doubled over the past year, Brown was joined by Team ENOUGH Executive Councilmember Stephan Abrams, who has demonstrated just how easy it is to get a ghost gun kit.

As KPBS notes, immediately following the press conference, the San Diego City Council met and passed an ordinance designed to crack down on gun violence perpetrated using the home-assembled firearms. BradyCA would like to thank the steadfast leadership in San Diego that is working hard to keep our communities safe.
