Jim Brady served as President Reagan's Press Secretary. Early in his tenure, he was shot in the head during an attempted assassination on the President. Jim survived; and although he would spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair, his sharp witty humor and commitment to making the world a better place was not in the least diminished. With bipartisan support, he & Sarah fought to pass the Brady Background Checks system. Today, thousands of volunteers around the country work to protect the Brady's legacy. It's in our hands.
